FAQ's

What are Permanent Cosmetics?

Permanent cosmetics, also referred to as micro pigmentation, is the sophisticated process of inserting specially formulated colored pigments into the dermal layer of the skin.    Permanent cosmetics procedures are performed using a coil tattoo machine.  These procedures are a process, which include a free consultation, the first application of pigment and one touch up visit 5 to 6 weeks later to adjust shape, color or density of the pigment if needed.

Permanent makeup is actually a very affordable way to maintain your beauty and enhance those areas, which you feel, need special attention or focus.

What do I look for when considering a Permanent Cosmetics/Makeup Professional?

Training...Training...Training...  Unfortunately, most entities offering training in Permanent Cosmetics/Makeup charge students thousands of dollars for three to five day courses and send their students into the profession thinking they are adequately trained. (Click on links for examples:http://www.premierpigments.com/aiicclasses.html, http://www.ezpermanentmakeup.com/onedayclass.htm, http://www.gloriabrandt.com/classes.htm,http://www.beaufacia.com/?gclid=CJblgtH_vo4CFRdfgQodIGbN2w) In addition, the State of Florida does not have a certification test for Permanent Make-up Technicians and some counties do not require you to have a business license.  Needless to say, the professional is not regulated in Flrida.

Talisa was trained by the only Florida Board of Education certified Permanent Cosmetics/Makeup School in the State of Florida, John Hashey's Advanced School of Permanent Cosmetics.  She has received hundreds of intense training which most of it occured before she was every allowed to worked on a client of John's.  Talisa is also a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.  Therefore, she is very familar with sanitation procedures and any medical issues that might arise.
